The heart of any successful organization lies in its people. And at Daycos, we are fortunate to have a team that not only excels in serving our customers but also strives to make a meaningful difference in the communities we call home.
Their dedication extends far beyond the workplace as they actively volunteer their time and talents to local boards, committees, and causes close to their heart.
Whether it’s organizing community events or championing initiatives that uplift those in need, our employees continually find ways to give back. These efforts reflect all of our company’s core values.
A few individuals took the time to share their why with us.

“I enjoy being on the Norfolk Trail Advisory Board to help get more designated trails in Norfolk. Trails and recreation are such a big part of drawing in new people or bringing people ‘back home,’ and I am glad to be a part of making that happen. We are listened to on the board and are helping to make trails connect throughout Norfolk and the surrounding 2 miles.”

“The Zone Afterschool Program is important to me because I believe it’s crucial for kids to have a safe space after school where they can connect with their peers, receive homework assistance, and benefit from mentorship. Plus, they are provided with a snack and meal.”
Dani Anderson
“The Arc of Norfolk is important to me because it’s an organization that is dedicated to advocating for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities like my daughter, Hannah. They also focus on community engagement and involvement so the people they serve feel valued and included.”
To every team member who chooses to invest in our community: thank you. Your commitment inspires us and reminds us of the power of collective action. Together, we’re building not just a stronger organization but a stronger, more vibrant community for everyone.
