At Daycos, our commitment to give back to our community is not just a value. It is a way of life. We
believe that a thriving community is an integral part of our success, which is why we recognize our community as one of Daycos’ four primary stakeholders. We believe in having a responsibility to contribute to something bigger than ourselves, rather than just providing services and making money.
With the holiday season in full swing, we reflect on the goodness that spreads within our community and the opportunity to give back to those in need. We recognize the season of giving as a chance for our employees to express their gratitude and appreciation for our community extraordinarily.
In recent years, Daycos4Good has spearheaded numerous employee-led initiatives within the community. And this December, we are excited to continue our tradition of giving back to spread joy this holiday season. All Daycos employees will join small groups, each empowered with a designated budget and an hour to go out in the community and creatively make a difference in the lives of those in need. Here are some amazing examples of the positive impact our employees have previously made during the give back activity.
The Meadows Senior Living & Heritage of Bel-Air:
Groups embarked on a shopping spree, selecting presents for individuals at The Meadows Senior Living and Heritage of Bel-Air, spreading joy and holiday spirit.
Wisper Skate Shop:
A group ventured to Wisper Skate Shop in town, utilizing their funds to purchase skateboards for the “Adopt a Skater” program, providing recreational opportunities for local youths.
Our Savior Lutheran Church:
Daycos employees generously donated Hy-Vee gift cards to Our Savior Lutheran Church, assisting families in need with essential groceries and gas.
Holiday Treat Bags:
Employees created holiday treat bags and were distributed to Bright Horizons, AseraCare Hospice, and the Norfolk Senior Citizen Center, bringing smiles to many individuals.
In addition to these heartwarming efforts, various supplies were generously donated to organizations such as the Northeast Nebraska Animal Shelter, Ronald McDonald House, and the Norfolk Rescue Mission.
As we navigate this season of giving, we are not just creating positive moments; we are collectively building a stronger, more compassionate community and beyond.
